Big News
I have good news and bad news. The bad news first: children in Haiti are hungry. Some are starving. Many will go to bed hungry tonight.

Three months ago, this mom brought these twins to the clinic. The girl on the right was limp and dying. Her mother’s milk had dried up and they couldn’t afford powdered milk. We gave them some powdered milk and now the little girl is doing great! Sadly, all across Haiti, there are little girls and little boys who do not have enough food and who are not doing great.

Now the good news
We will soon be moving a full-time Agricultural Missionary and his family to The Hope Center in Haiti. This has been a dream for quite some time and it is now becoming a reality.

Family in our village attempting to grow a garden. With expert help and guidance, they will be able to produce much more food their family.

One of our goals has been to partner with our leading agricultural institution, Mississippi State University, and place one of their graduates at The Hope Center in Haiti. After meeting with the President of MSU and the VP of Agriculture, Forestry, and Veterinary Medicine, we have identified an MSU graduate who has his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. In addition, he is a strong Christian who has already spent 3 years in a developing country focusing on agriculture. He is married and has two daughters, ages 5 and 2.

I cannot adequately express how excited we are about this latest development. Just as when our nurse moved to Haiti full-time, we believe this will be a game-changer that will make a huge difference in the lives of countless people.

We are now in the process of building a 3 bedroom house for this Agricultural missionary family. The house will be attached to The Hope Center and the family will live there full-time. The cost for building the house will be at least $68,000. This amount involves construction materials, labor, and the plumbing and electrical work.

Will you help us build a house for this wonderful family? They are willing to leave the comfort of the United States and move full-time to one of the poorest countries in the world. If you are willing to trust us with your donation to build this house, you can click here and give online or you can mail your donation to But God Ministries, 1440 North State Street, Jackson, MS, 39202. If you give online, there is a place to designate your gift to Missionary House for Agricultural Missionary. If you mail a check, please write “Missionary House” on the memo line. Any amount received beyond the cost of the house will be used for agricultural work (equipment, seeds, plants, etc.) or other needs as determined by But God Ministries.

We Have Water!!!
After a lengthy process, we now have a well for our orphanage. It took several tries, but we now have a reliable source of water for cooking, bathing, and restroom needs. We hope to begin accepting children in the orphanage in July or August.

Teams, Teams, Teams
After a number of weeks without a visiting American mission team, we have resumed hosting teams. In fact, from last week until the middle of November, we will be hosting teams every week with only a few exceptions.

These teams are a joy to work with as they share the love of Jesus Christ in countless ways. They help with medical and dental needs, construction work, Bible school and Bible studies, evangelism, worship services, and in a million other ways.

Please continue to pray for our work in Haiti. God is blessing in countless ways as we see lives changed both now and forever.

Can’t Wait To See What God Does Next,
