Tonight’s the Night!…
This is it! Tonight, July 30, at 7:00 we are having our Second Annual Food for Life event. This year, due to COVID-19, the event is a virtual event that is being live-streamed on Facebook. Just go to the Facebook page of But God Ministries or Stan Buckley.
Great Singers
Three of my all-time favorite singers will be performing. Joel Thames will sing my favorite song early in the program and then Chip Wilbanks and Kathy Gautier will sing a duet near the end. You do not want to miss this!
Changed Lives
During the middle of the event, I will be leading a panel discussion. Tony and Mickie West, our missionaries in Haiti, we be talking about our medical clinics in Haiti and our new expanded Outpatient Malnutrition Program. They’ll be telling stories of some of the poorest people in the world who have received love, medical care, and the hope of the Gospel at our clinics.
Linda McGrew and Bennie Brown are our full-time team members in Jonestown, MS. They’ll be talking about the work of BGM in Jonestown as well as filling us in on the new After-School program. Many of our BGM supporters have never met Linda and Bennie. They’re doing a super job and I can’t wait for you to see them and hear all the great things happening in Jonestown.
Purpose
What’s the purpose of this important event? To provide funds for our medical clinics in Haiti and our new After-School program in Jonestown.
