Over the last two months God has been working mightily through But God Ministries in Haiti. And enormous amount of medical care, led by our Medical Director, Tony West, has taken place.

Only a few short months ago, babies Michael and Betsy were severely malnourished and near death. They came to our clinic and we were able to treat them and then take them to a Reimagine Haiti Malnutrition Center where they have done remarkably well thanks to the dedicated staff and the healing power of Jesus.

There has been a team there this week from Jackson and Meridian, Miss. God blessed with over 40 professions of faith and they gave out 38 new Bibles! The dentist pulled well over 200 teeth, and the doctors saw over 500 patients. We thank God for His provision, safety, endurance, and most of all, eternal life!

The man on the left showed up at the Hope Center with a huge gash in his head. The machete wound went all the way to the skull and cut the bone. Stitches were given and he was transported to a hospital.

We recently held abmobile clinic in the village of Ti Source. It’s a beautiful place with beautiful people but because of its remote location there is no access to medical care or spiritual care. Here, team members prepare medications to takebwith the mobile clinic.

Church News
We held two pastors conferences recently at our church. These conferences are such a blessing to pastors who otherwise get no additional training and often no encouragement to continue the calling God has placed on their lives.

The mission team packed suitcases of clothes, towels, shoes, etc. that we sent home with the pastors to give to people in need at their church.

One of our full-time missionaries, Hannah, and Pastor Mickenson have been working on getting children’s church started. This included training some of the women in the church on how they could be leaders in teaching the children about God.

On a recent Sunday, the church kicked off our first children’s church. There were 37 children that participated. They learned a Bible verse, sang songs, and heard a Bible story. All of the kids were very excited! What a blessing this new ministry will be as the Haitian women and men of the church will be teaching the children for years to come.

Agriculture News
Our agriculture missionary, Charles, has led the efforts to build chicken coops and provide chickens to area residents. Many eggs are being produced for consumption as well as for selling in nearby markets.

Orphanage

The 13 children in the orphanage are thriving in their happy and safe environment.

Several teams from Pensacola, FL recently worked on an addition to the orphanage. The addition is for two long-term workers who will be moving to Haiti with us next year to help with the educational and spiritual development of the children. We’re very excited about Rachael moving in February and Meredith in June.

Finally
God continues to bless in our work in Haiti. Of course, it requires a tremendous amount of resources to do all the ministry that is taking place through But God Ministries. If you want to use your resources to make a long-term difference in the Kingdom of God, we welcome your gift.

You can give online HERE or send a check to: But God Ministries, 1440 North State Street, Jackson, MS, 39202.

In addition, I ask for your prayers for wisdom and energy for our Haitian staff, our American staff in Haiti, and our Board of Directors.

Can’t Wait To See What God Does Next,

Stan Buckley
Executive Director
But God Ministries
