We work in SPHERES
-
We share the good news of Jesus Christ through times of worship, Bible studies, VBS, personal evangelism, Pastors’ Conferences, and a variety of other ways.
-
We meet physical needs through our medical and dental clinics. We have three full-time Haitian doctors, a dentist, and multiple nurses in both Galette Chambon and Thoman, Haiti.
We have a dental clinic in Jonestown, MS, where volunteer dentists serve year-round. We provide an array of dental services, including full sets of dentures.
We also provide physical exercise for young people at our Baseball/Softball Complex in Jonestown.
-
We have drilled 4 wells in Gallete Chambon, Haiti, and provided water in a variety of ways in the village of Thoman, Haiti.
-
We educate over 2,500 children in our 7 schools in Haiti. Each monthly sponsorship for the children provides tuition, a uniform, books, and a daily meal. In Jonestown, MS, we have an After-School Program for 40 children in grades 3-6.
-
We have built over 300 homes for Haitians living in tent cities or mud huts. In Jonestown, MS, we are currently building a 10-house neighborhood that enables families to purchase their own homes. In addition, we have a house used by widows.
-
We employ over 150 Haitians on a full-time basis. In addition, hundreds of Haitians have received temporary jobs over the last 13 years. We have an Economic Development Building in Haiti where new businesses have been created, along with numerous jobs.
In Jonestown, MS, we have 9 employees as well as a 4,000 sq. ft. Economic Development Center where we help residents create their own companies and employ people from the community.
-
We provide access to healthy food through multiple food distributions throughout each year. These food distributions provide relief to tens of thousands of hungry Haitians. In Jonestown, MS, we have a farming incubator program where we teach new farmers how to farm using our tractor and other farming equipment.
